Throwback Thursday- "Baby Got Back"
As of this week Sir Mix A Lot's infamous "Baby Got Back" dropped 25 years ago. Sir Mix A Lot was truly an innovator in the rap game and pop culture. He was really putting on for women of color and their voluptuous figures, by calling out the media for portraying women with a full derriere as fat. He really made women feel comfortable and sexy with having something to squeeze on back there.
According to sirmixalot.com it says "something 'big' will be 'back' August 1st". I'm not sure of that means he is re-releasing a mastered version of "Baby Got Back" or he is dropping something entirely different but I'll stay tuned and let you know.
